Huval and LeBlanc celebrate Nuptials

Molly Kay Huval of Cecilia and Kipp Christopher LeBlanc of Erath were united in Holy Matrimony on Friday, November 20, 2009, at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cecilia, LA. Father Lloyd Benoit officiated the 7:00 pm nuptial ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Clyde and Dianna Huval of Cecilia. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Leo Durio of Arnaudville and Ms. Paola Huval and the late Mr. Claude Huval of Cecilia. She is a graduate of Cecilia High School and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Molly is currently employed as a financial analyst with Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

The groom is the son of Mary Ellen and Donald Carabine of New Iberia and Carroll “Bubba” LeBlanc of Erath. His grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude Leleux of Delcambre and Mr. E.J. LeBlanc and the late Ms. Gloria LeBlanc of Erath. He is a graduate of Erath High School and Louisiana Technical College. Kipp is currently employed as a Lead Aviation Mechanic with Rotorcraft Leasing Company.

Escorted by her Father, the bride wore a Casablanca ivory and champagne silk taffeta gown with a multi-pleated bodice and sweetheart neckline. Crystals and rhinestones adorned at the empire waist while side and back pleats draped the a-line skirt. Hand beaded buttons cascaded down the back of the dress to the end of the chapel length train and an ivory finger-tip veil accented with champagne embroidery trim encrusted with pearls and rhinestones completed the ensemble. She carried a clutch bouquet of Sahara roses, antique green hydrangea, Ligustrum berries, and jasmine vine. The stems were wrapped with champagne ribbon and clasped with her Mother’s Swarovski broach.

Serving as Maid of Honor was Jhansi Calais, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids included Blair Boudreaux, friend of the bride, Krystal Harrington, friend of the bride, Shaina LeBlanc, sister of the groom, and Ashley Hauser, sister of the groom.

Serving as Best Man was Ross Landry, friend of the groom. Groomsmen included John Huval, brother of the bride, Brent Shields, friend of the groom, Derek Delahoussaye, friend of the groom, and Cody Landry, friend of the groom. Ushers were Kenneth Durio, godfather of the bride, and Trent Harrington, friend of the groom.

Flower girls were Peyton Huval, niece of the bride, and Nikki LeBlanc, godchild of the groom. Ring bearer was Parker Huval, godchild of the bride.

Serving as readers were Jennifer Huval, sister of the bride, and Melissa Huval, sister-in-law of the bride.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at Cajun Palms Resort.

After returning from a honeymoon to Ocho Rios, Jamaica the couple will reside in Cecilia.
