Gueydan Journal to be a part of exciting new web site!

The Gueydan Journal has launched an exciting new web site that will become operational as soon as today (Tuesday, June 29th).


The old web site, Gueydantoday.com, which featured news and photos almost exclusively from Gueydan, will become part of a new web site called Vermiliontoday.com. This new website will contain much more information about Gueydan, as well as other news from throughout Vermilion Parish.


In addition to news from the Kaplan Herald and the Abbeville Meridional, the Gueydan Journal will be posting all of their information to Vermiliontoday.com.


"The new web site will give our area readers the best in news, photos and information," Gueydan Journal Editor Mike Rizzuto stated. "The news will be constantly updated so Gueydan residents can get the very latest in breaking news and parish happenings. Vermilion Parish residents will also benefit from having the capability of reading about the latest news from Gueydan and its surrounding communities.

"The Gueydan Journal is extremely excited and proud to be a part of Vermiliontoday.com, and we are confident that our loyal readers will be, too," Rizzuto concluded.

The Web site will also contain a location for videos to be posted for the benefit of our area residents.


For a few weeks, anyone who goes to Gueydantoday.com will be directed to Vermiliontoday.com.
