Gueydan’s New Year Baby arrives

Bryler John Hebert born January 29, 2010 at 9:04 a.m. at Jennings American Legion Hospital, is Gueydan’s first born in the new year.

His mother is the former Kayla Erwin of Lake Charles.

The infant weighed seven pounds and one ounce, and measured 19-1/2 inches.

Awaiting the new arrival at home was the baby’s brother, Blaise, age two.

Grandparents are Bennett Hebert and the late Johnnie Hebert of Gueydan; Mike and Debbie LaFleur of Lake Charles and the late Greg Erwin. His step grandmother is Roxanna Richard of Gueydan.

Bryler’s great grandparents are Bessie Hebert and the late Larris Hebert of Gueydan J.W. Breaux of Rayne, Janice Breaux of Lake Arthur, Ray and Ethel Derouen of Lake Charles and Jesse and Jane Erwin of Baton Rouge.

Great great grandmother is Ruby Istre of Lake Arthur.

Step great grandparents are Jackie and Jimmy Scanlan of Gueydan.

Godparents chosen for the baby are Haley Hebert of Gueydan and Jim Leblanc of Lacassine.
