Mary Beth Bourque - Kyle Baudoin unite in marriage

Miss Mary Beth Bourque of Kaplan and Mr. Kyle Mitchell Baudoin of Abbeville were united in the sacrament of holy matrimony on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at one o’clock in the afternoon at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Kaplan, Louisiana.
The Reverend Father Kendal Faulk, uncle of the groom, officiated the double ring ceremony and Reverend Father Mark Miley and Reverend Father Paul Bienvenu were concelebrants.
The bride is the daughter of Richard B. Bourque and Ms. Lorna Hebert Bourque of Kaplan. Mary Beth is the granddaughter of James “Teanny Man” Hebert of Abbeville and the late Florine Stelly Hebert, and Margarite Bourque of Pecan Island and the late Leonard Bourque Sr.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Adrien J. Baudoin of Abbeville. His mother is the former Donna Hebert of Abbeville. Kyle is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hebert and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Baudoin.
The bride, given away by her father, selected a beautiful gown designed by Jewel. The simple yet elegant ivory trumpet gown was made of lace, had a scalloped v-neck with tank straps, and beaded applique throughout the entire gown. To complete her look, the bride chose a one tier cathedral length veil that featured heavy embellishment of floral lace appliques.
Her bouquet was made of burgundy dahlias, burgundy calla lilies, and cream ivory garden roses. As her something old, the bride chose to carry her grandmother, Florine’s, rosary incorporated into her bouquet.
The groom wore charcoal grey suit accented with an ivory tie and vest, provided by Miller’s Formals.
Richelle Marceaux, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor and Sarah Zaunbrecher, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Jaimee Romero, sister of the bride; Aimee’ Bourque, sister of the bride; Kaylyn Baudoin, sister of the groom; Hillarie Hebert, cousin of the bride; Taylor Baudoin, cousin of the groom; Dayne Bass, friend of the bride and Olivia Briolo, friend of the bride. The junior bridesmaid was Ellie Marceaux, goddaughter of the bride. The flower girls were Camille Marceaux, niece of the bride; Lynnli Romero, goddaughter of the bride; Jolie Baudoin, goddaughter of the groom and Ella LeBouef, goddaughter of the groom.
The bridesmaids all wore wine colored, floor length gowns that featured a lace bodice, an illusion neckline, a ribbon-defined waist and a fluid mesh skirt with a slit. The junior bridesmaid wore a wine colored, one shoulder gown with a lace bodice, ribbon-defined waistline, and a mesh skirt. The flower girls wore ivory short lace dresses with illusion sleeves. They all carried a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet with garden roses, dahlias, and calla lilies. The flowers were designed by Marlene Romero.
Seth Lemaire, friend of the groom, served as the best man. The groomsmen included Trenton Baudoin, brother of the groom; Philip Laperouse, Cody Pontiff, Matt Pontiff, Brody Humble, Jacob LeBouef, Jacob Fleming and Dustin Gallet, friends of the groom.
The groomsmen wore charcoal grey suits with wine colored vests and ties.
Ushers were Gage Marceaux, nephew of the bride; Lane Marceaux, nephew of the bride; Seth Hebert, cousin of the groom and Derek Dupuis, cousin of the groom.
Readings were given by Jenny Gastal, godmother of the groom, and Alysse Hebert, cousin of the bride.
The reception was held at the Vermilion Fair and Festival Hall in Kaplan. The reception hall was decorated by Tawana Vaughan, aunt of the bride. The reception was catered by Rena Menard of Abbeville and the cake was provided by Judy Broussard of Abbeville.
Upon returning from the honeymoon in Niagara Falls, Canada, the couple will reside in Lafayette, LA.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents, Adrien and Donna, on Friday, January 6, 2017, at the Woodmen of the World Hall in Abbeville.
