Maddie Moss - Joshua Mouton say vows

Miss Maddie Moss and Mr. Joshua Mouton exchanged wedding vows on Friday, May 6, 2016, at the Chapel at Vermilionville in Lafayette.
Pamela Bradley officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Lynn Moss of Erath. Her grandparents are Anna and the late Jeb Guidry of Kaplan and the late Carmen and Murphy Moss of Erath.
Parents of the groom are Michael and Debra Mouton of Lafayette. Grandparents include Doris and Norma Bearb of Duson and Marc and Betty Mouton, Sr. of Lafayette
The pews at the chapel were adorned with burlap and lace bows. The altar contained two spring floral arrangements which included sunflowers and purple liatrus.
The instrumental music for the wedding was provided by Brett Hebert, cousin of the bride.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and beautifully draped bodice featuring perfectly placed asymmetrical beaded lace appliques. Her elbow length headpiece was a one tiered, beaded edge veil adorned with a crystal comb.
She carried a bouquet consisting of ivory and lavender roses accentuated with several sunflowers.
Tori Moss, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Megan Mouton, sister of the groom and Joy Meaux, friend of the bride. The junior bridesmaid was Claire Guidry, godchild of the bride. They wore black nude lace with capped sleeves and V-neckline features sparkling sequins on the bodice. They carried a single sunflower accentuated by eggplant colored feathers. The flower girl was Scarlett Mouton, cousin of the groom. She is the daughter of Victoria and Eric Mouton, Jr.
Matthew Mouton, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Lance Moss, brother of the bride and David Guidry, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Dax Uriegas, godchild of the bride and son of Tori Moss.
The reception was held immediately following the ceremony at Vermilionville. The decorations included a rustic decor of burlap and lace table runners, mason jar candle holders and centerpieces of wild flowers in spring holders.
The bride’s cake was a three tiered traditional cake adorned with sunflowers. Two of the tiers were filled with chocolate fudge made with the bride’s great-grandmother’s recipe and one tier was filled with bavarian cream.
The groom’s cake depicted the open jacket revealing superman motif undershirt. The cake was a yellow cake with lemon filling.
Upon their return from a wedding trip to New Orleans, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Imonelli’s Restaurant.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Erath High School and has a certification in cosmetology. She is employed by Fantastic Sam’s in Broussard.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Acadiana High School and is employed by Reagan Power and Compression.
