Hilary Villien becomes Mrs. Joey Bascom Wynn

Hilary Anne Villien and Joey Bascom Wynn were united in the sacrament of holy matrimony at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, on Friday, July 1st, 2016 at a 7 p.m. nuptial Mass officiated by the Reverend Howard Blessing.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Joseph Villien of Maurice, Louisiana. Mrs. Villien is the former Vanessa Dalfrey of Lafayette, Louisiana. The bride is a 2007 graduate of North Vermilion High School and a 2012 graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Education degree in Elementary Education. She currently teaches at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Scott.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Wallace Wynn, Junior of Rayne, Louisiana. Mrs. Wynn is the former Mayme Bonin of Rayne, Louisiana. Joey is a 2006 graduate of Rayne High School and a 2011 graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he received a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Joey is currently employed at Rayne State Bank.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore and elegant fit and flare gown designed by Casablanca. The timeless gown was made of beautiful beaded lace appliques on chantilly lace over champagne Soft Tulle. The dress featured a classic sweetheart neckline and cap sleeves. Delicate eyelash fringes adorned the entire front and deep back neckline, and the gown was finished with a charming semi-cathedral train.
The bride chose to complete her look with a stunning two tier, fold over cathedral veil with chantilly lace trim.
For her bouquet, the bride chose a combination of vendela, amnesia and remembrance roses, accented with silver dollar eucalyptus to create a bohemian style bouquet wrapped with lace from her mother’s bridal gown. Intertwined in the bouquet was a rosary given to her by her grandmother.
The bride was attended by her matrons of honor, Naomie Guilbeau Fitzgerald and Kristen Toups Vondenstein who were both sorority sisters of the bride in college. As an honorary maid of honor, the bride had her sister Angela Christine Villien remembered for the ceremony. Junior attendant to the bride was Annie Claire Hoyt, cousin of the bride, and Lainey Catherine Wynn, niece of the groom, served as flower girl.
The groom was attended by his brothers who served as best men, William Wallace Wynn III and Andrew John Wynn. William Scott Wynn, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer. Serving as ushers were George Ellis Blount and Jack Anthony Bonin, uncles of the groom.
The bride and groom choose to deliver the readings to their guest as lectors for their celebration of marriage. Serving as gift bearers were Alida Villien Kirtley, godmother of the bride and Sharen Wynn, godmother of the groom. Serving as program attendants were Kennedy Claire Trahan, Alex Renee Hoyt, and Avery Kate Hoyt, cousins of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Vermilion Room at River Oaks with entertainment provided by DJ Todd Ortego. Following the honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Rayne, Louisiana.
