Crystal Hebert becomes Mrs. Neil Lawrence Ross

Miss Crystal Lynn Hebert and Mr. Neil Lawrence Ross exchanged vows of marriage during a ceremony held at the Victorian Plantation in Broussard, La. on March 19, 2016. Long time friend of the bride and groom, Brandon Thibodeaux of Youngsille, La. officiated the 6:30 p.m. evening ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Chris J. Hebert and Carol Theriot of Abbeville. Her grandparents are Ella Bertrand Hebert of Erath, and the late Dudley J. Hebert, Whitney Romero of New Iberia, Mildred Desormeaux Delcambre and of Delcambre and the late Leo Delcambre.
The groom is the son of Patrick and Marsha Ross of Lafayette. His grandparents are the late James G. Ross and Annette Laporte Ross of Abbeville, Emily Guidry Courtier of Abbeville and the late Charles A. Courtier.
The ceremony took place under a quiet garden gazebo surrounded by the bride and groom’s closest family and friends.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a light gold gown by Maggie Sottero Emma. With an eye to timeless romance, the slim A-line design featured a delicate sweetheart neckline and gorgeous beaded lace motifs dancing across tulle. The gown was finished with a corset back or zipper back closure.
She carried a bouquet consisting of a wide seletion of wild flowers, cotton and burlap adorned with a charm created from funeral flowers from the bride’s baby brother which was provided by Jewels of Love.
Attending as matron of honor was Angel Borel Stansbury. Bridesmaids included Tiffany Marie Hebert, Allison White Ross, Jennifer Robertson Jesset an Melissa Garcia Morton. They wore a variety of Mori Lee lace dresses in blush.
Emma Ross, niece of the groom, served as the flower girl. She is the daughter of Grant and Allison Ross. She wore a vintage inspired light gold tulle dress.
Justin Luna served as best man. Groomsmen included Joshua Hebert, Grant Ross, Robert Jesset and Clint Etie. Ring bearer was Colin Ross, godchild of the groom and son of Grant and Allison Ross. He wore a vintage inspired gingham bow tie and suspenders.
A reception was held immediately following the wedding at the Victorian Plantation under a white linen and chandelier filled tent decorated with rustic, Victorian vintage inspired flowers and mason jars.
The bride’s cake was a three tiered ‘naked’ cake adorned with an array of fresh berries and rustic flowers provided by Piece of Cake Lafayette.
The four tiered groom’s king cake was provided by Meche’s.
Upon their return from a wedding trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
A crawfish boil rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents, was held at Young’s Sports Grill.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Abbeville High School and is employed at the Law Offices of Joseph F. Gaar, Jr.
