Couple to be Married

Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Petry of Gueydan are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Leslie Rachelle, to Brandon Timothy Badon. The wedding ceremony will be on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church with the reception held at the Gueydan Civic Center.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Petry of Gueydan and Norma Bonin and the late Donnie Bonin of Morse.
The groom-elect is the son of Judy Badon and the late Timothy Badon, grandparents are Irene Badon and the late Audley Badon and the late Buford and Dorothy Marceaux of Gueydan.
The bride-elect is a 2004 Gueydan High School Graduate and 2008 McNeese State University Graduate. She is currently employed with Acadian Home Care as a registered nurse.
The groom-elect is a 2004 Gueydan High School Graduate and currently employed by Murphy Oil as a production operator.
