Couple announces engagement

Miss Alaine’ Michelle deValcourt and Mr. John Adam Ford are announcing their engagement and forthcoming wedding.
The wedding will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville.
The future bride is the daughter of Lisa Sagrera of Abbeville and Michael deValcourt and Tara H. deValcourt (stepmother) of Abbeville.
She is a 2011 graduate of Erath High School and a 2016 graduate of UL at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Quality. She is currently employed at Lowe’s of Abbeville.
The prospective groom is the son of Mary Ford Hebert and Barry Hebert (stepfather) of Abbeville and Gregory Businelle of Franklin. He is a 2013 graduate of Abbeville High School. He is employed with Airgas.
