Allie Griffin - Jade Nunez say wedding vows in Utah

Miss Allie Griffin of Baton Rouge and Mr. Jade Nunez of Erath exchanged vows of marriage during a ceremony held on April 16, 2016 at the Timber Moose Lodge in Heber City Utah. Pastor Ben Jones officiated the nuptials.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Catherine Griffin of Baton Rouge, La. Her grandparents are the late Emmett and Dot Criag of Baton Rouge and Rosalie Griffin of Baton Rouge.
The groom is the son of Carson and Fran Nunez of Erath. His grandparents are Christopher and Joyce Suire of Erath and R. J. and Margarine Nunez of Erath.
For her special day, the bride wore a simple, but elegant long sleeve lace dress with sheer detailing.
Bridesmaids included Jency Hogan, Dori Place, Mckenzie Griffin, Mya Nunez, Jill Dowling and Blair Walpole. Each attendant selected their own style of blush floor length gowns. The flower girl was Nora Place, niece of the bride.
Groomsmen included Beau Nunez, Kyle Nunez, Jamy Comeaux, James Bares, Patrick Walker and Jim Sanders. Ring bearer was Judah Place, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Edward Mcglasson and Frank Moore.
A reception, dinner and dancing was held at the Timber Moose Lodge.
The bride’s cake included three simple cakes made by Tess Comrie at Le Loup Cakes in Utah.
The couple will honeymoon in Southern Italy.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Dunham School in Baton Rouge and a 2006 graduate of the University of Colorado.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Erath High School, a 2003 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a 2007 LSUHSC in Shreveport with a Medical Degree in 2007. He completed his residency in general surgery and fellowships in Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery at Wake Forest University Medical Center in Winston, Salem, NC in 2015. He is currently employed with the University of Utah Hospital.
