Aimee Duhon becomes Mrs. Landon Latiolais

Miss Aimee Claire Duhon of Abbeville and Mr. Landon Jude Latiolais of Youngsville were joined in holy matrimony on Friday, August 5, 2016, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette, La.
Deacon Matthew Hebert and Fr. Patrick Broussard officiated the 7 p.m. nuptials.
The bride is the daughter of Shane and Sharon Duhon of Abbeville. Her grandparents are Dudley and Mamie Duhon of Abbeville and Hubert and Elaine Faulk, also of Abbeville.
The groom is the son of Kevin and Angelique Latiolais of Youngsville. His grandparents are Gerald and the late Margie Latiolais of Breaux Bridge and Leroy and Ruth Robin of Lafayette.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an Essence of Australia all-over ivory lace fit and flare gown with capped sleeves. The gown featured sparkling Diamante beading throughout over a Dolce satin underdress. Her cathedral length veil was edged in French alencon lace and beading.
The bride carried a bouquet of white peonines, freesias, hydrangeas and roses. Intertwined in her bouquet were a rosary borrowed from her maternal grandmother and charms with photographs of her late paternal grandparents.
Julie L. Romero, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Claire Latiolais, sister of the groom; Kate Faulk, cousin of the bride; Kimberly Lehmann, friend of the bride and Michelle C. Helminger, friend of the bride. The flower girl was Ainsley Sharon, cousin of the groom.
Joseph Young, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Connor Latiolais, brother of the groom; Jonathon Duhon, brother of the bride; Grant Guidry, cousin of the groom and Nicholas “Tre” Wiebelt, friend of the groom. The ring bearer was Avery Peacock, cousin of the bride.
Ushers were Christopher Faulk, cousin of the bride and Andre Serio, friend of the groom.
A reception was held at The Madison Banquet and Reception Center.
Upon their return from a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Milton, La.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of North Vermilion High School and a 2014 graduate of UL at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
The groom is a 2011 graduate of St. Thomas More High School and a 2016 graduate of UL at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
