UL’s home game against South Alabama set for 6 p.m.

LAFAYETTE – Kickoff for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Sept. 17 home contest against South Alabama has been set for 6 p.m., University and Sun Belt Conference officials announced on Wednesday.
The game, which is the Sun Belt Conference opener for Louisiana, will be televised on ESPN3.
Louisiana will officially kick off the season on Sept. 3 in an 11 a.m. contest against Boise State at Cajun Field. The Ragin’ Cajuns will also host in-state foe McNeese State (Sept. 10), plus SBC opponents Appalachian State (Oct. 12), Idaho (Nov. 5) and Arkansas State (Nov. 26).

The season-opener against Boise State will be televised on the American Sports Network with the Sept. 10 game against McNeese State to be aired on ESPN3. Louisiana’s game against Appalachian State will be televised nationally on ESPN2, while the Ragin’ Cajuns Nov. 10 game at Georgia Southern will be televised on ESPNU.
After the third week of the season, ESPN and the Sun Belt will announce viewing access for games 12 days before they are scheduled.
