Abbeville's Demarcus Collins (16) had a good night of offense in the Wildcats' win.

Collins helps Abbeville win

BATON ROUGE - Abbeville quarterback Demarcus Collins had a career night this past Friday.
The Wildcats cruised to a 53-26 victory over non-district White Castle.
Collins had a hand in four touchdowns.
He ran for 161 yards and scored a touchdown.
He was three of six passing the football and completed two touchdown passes.
And he caught two passes for 51 yards and one was for a touchdown.
Abbeville racked up a season-high 557 yards of offense behind the running game.
Abbeville rushed for 449 yards and threw for another 108 yards.
Fullback Jalen Montgomery also had a big night for the Wildcats. He has seven carries for 125 yards and he scored two touchdowns.
In the second period, Abbeville scored on two touchdown passes. Collins connected with tight end Allen Arclies for a 17-yard TD pass and a 20-yard touchdown pass.
Montgomery added a third period touchdown when he ran for 48 yards.
Braeden Williams, who had seven carries for 78 yards, scored on a 58-yard touchdown run.
Arclies had two catches for 37 yards and two touchdowns.
Abbeville (2-7) closes out the season at home against Westgate (3-7) on Friday.
