Martin “June” Chargois Jr.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Martin “June” Chargois Jr.
Martin will be laid to rest at St. Alphonse Cemetery.
Father Stanley Jawa will officiate.
Martin was born February 26, 1950 to the late Martin Chargois Sr., and the late, Laura Broussard Chargois.
Martin was a certified cement mason. He also was a Vietnam Veteran and later served in the National Guard. Martin’s passion was his family and horses. His pride and joy were his two grandchildren.
Left to mourn the loss, yet cherish the memories of Martin is his daughter; Ebony Chargois Boyance and her husband, Herbert Boyance Jr., and their two grandchildren, Tristan and Rowan Boyance, one brother; George (Geraldine) Chargois of Maurice and two sisters; Beatrice Page and Odile Malveaux both of Houston, TX .
He is preceded in death by his parents; Martin and Laura Chargois Sr., his brothers; Dudley Chargois, Joe Chargois, Steve Chargois, John Chargois and his sisters; Jeanette McZeal and Mary Lean St. Julien.
Active pallbearers are; Herbert Boyance Jr., Derrick Chargois, Kenneth Chargois, Michael Chargois, Donald Page, and Samson Page.
Honorary pallbearers are; Anthony Chargois, Carl Chargois, Chad Chargois, Donovan Chargois, Jeremy Chargois, and Kevin Chargois.
Visitation hours will be observed at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9:30am until time of service.
