ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Alfred John Meaux, 72, who died Friday, March 25, 2016 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette.
He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Bryon Soley officiating the services.
He is survived by his brothers, James Meaux and Norris Meaux; son-in-law, Emery Landry; and three grandchildren, Phillip Landry, Hannah Landry and Caleb Meaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarphy and Bella Meaux; son, Francis Meaux; daughter, Lynette M. Landry; and a sister, Rose Amy Meaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday March 30, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
