Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office makes arrest in connection to stolen lawn mower

According to Major Darryl LeBlanc, an arrest was made yesterday afternoon shortly after 3 p.m. in regards to a Simple Burglary of a residence located off of La. Hwy. 338 and N. Airport road in Vermilion Parish where a zero turn lawn mower was reported stolen on Sunday December 8, 2013.
Major LeBlanc says that Justin Schaubert w/m dob 5/09/88 of 210 B South Larriviere Youngsville, La. Has been arrested and booked into the Vermilion Parish Correctional Center on 1 ct. Simple Burglary with bond set at $10,000.00.
At this time the lawn mower has yet to be recovered however detectives are working aggressively to locate the lawn mower which is valued at over $3,000.
Major LeBlanc says that the investigation is ongoing and that additional arrest may be forthcoming.
