Stanton Hardee wins Kaplan City Judge race
Stanton Hardee, a former assistant district attorney, is now the new city judge in Kaplan.
Hardee beat incumbent Frank LeMoine 2,132 votes (60 percent) to 1,399 votes (40 percent).
“First I want to thank God from whom all blessings flow,” said Hardee. “Second, I could not have made it through this race or be the man I am today without the love and endless devotion of my Mom and Dad, who knocked on doors and worked with me from dusk to dawn.
“Third, I must say thank you to all my family and friends that were involved in this campaign who gave their time to help me. Finally, I want to thank all the people who voted for me.”
