Erath High Project Graduation Gumbo Cook-Off results

On Saturday, the Class of 2015 had the largest gumbo cook-off in Vermilion Parish in years.
There were 58 teams and 72 gumbos being served to those who attended at the QSA Sports Complex in Erath.
There were also a record 50 judges used to taste all the gumbo.
The money made from the gumbo benefits the Class of 2015 Project Graduation.
Here are the top three finishers in each category.

Chicken
1st- QSA Chef Matt Hebert
2nd-Les Deax Cooyans Chefs Billy Lapoint and Dalton Hebert
3rd- Bodin Oil Company Chefs Todd Bodin and Seth Comeaux

Seafood
1st- Team U Mad Chef Robert Derouen
2nd- Shawn’s Cajun Meats Too! Chef Bud Leblanc
3rd- Simply Irresistible Chef Kyle Luquette

Other
1st- Technical Manifold Service Chef Jason Roy
2nd- Simply Irresistible Chef Kyle Luquette
3rd- Grant’s Gang Chef Julie Alario
