Since the late 90s, the Jumelage (twinning) between the City of Kaplan and the City of Hannut continues. Visitations occur every other year, and this year the Kaplan Jumelage Committee will be visiting Hannut, Belgium, along with sites in France. The trip to Europe begins on March 27 and ends on April 9, 2016. The Kaplan Jumelage Committee will depart on Easter Sunday for Europe. The trip will include Paris and Normandy, France and Hannut, Belgium. Baldwin, Rufus Marceaux, Ronald Meaux, Blake Williams, Farrel Comeaux.
