Miss Haley Choate becomes Mrs. Lorman A. Dupuis

Haley Michelle Choate and Lorman Alden Dupuis exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at L’Eglise Chapel in LeBlanc, Louisiana. The 4 p.m. garden ceremony was officiated by Pastor Farley Painter.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Choate of Lafayette, Louisiana. She is the granddaughter of B.J. Lege and the late Marie Lege Stelly and the late Mr. and Mrs. Presley Choate.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Dupuis of Meaux, Louisiana. He is the grandson of Gladys Dupuis and the late Ollie Dupuis, Sr. and Patricia Goddard and the late Rodney Goddard.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Mori Lee ivory illusion halter neckline and dramatic open back, a fit-n-flare sheath gown, with exquisite lace appliques on tulle, finished with covered button closure. She completed her look with a beaded fingertip veil.
The bride carried antique white garden roses, ranunculus, white anemone and dahlias, white hydrangeas and lisanthus, seeded eucalyptus and Italian fillers in a handheld bouquet wrapped with cream silk ribbon.
The bride was attended by her maid of honor, Mindy Choate, sister of the bride. Her matron of honor was Shannon Burns, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah Stone and Lakeyn Langley, friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Chelsea Burns and Kaleigh Gaspard, nieces of the bride.
Serving as flower girl was Riley Gaspard, niece of the bride.
The bridesmaids wore champagne colored strapped v-neckline, beaded lace bodice with a full chiffon formal length gown. Jr. bridesmaids wore a champagne colored illusion lace bodice cap sleeves, a-line chiffon formal length gown. They carried antique white garden roses, white ranunculus, burgundy dahlias and seeded eucalyptus in a loose nosegay form bouquet wrapped with cream silk ribbon.
Bestman was Justin Bordelon, friend of the groom. Attendants to the groom were Shawn and Dolzie Dupuis, brothers of the groom, and Will Meaux, friend of the groom. Junior groomsman was Gavin Burns, nephew of the bride and ring bearer was Turner Dupuis, nephew of the groom. Serving as ushers were Brady Gaspard, brother of the bride and Josh Hildago, friend of the groom.
Scriptures were read by Tina Greene, Aunt of the groom. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception continued at L’Eglise.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at A Venue By Dupuy’s in Maurice, Louisiana.
Following a honeymoon at a later date, the couple resides at their new home in LeRoy, Louisiana.
