Celebrating the century mark!

Verdner R. Levine, better known as “Mama Sang” will be celebrating her 100th birthday on Sunday, February 28, 2016.
Mama Sang was born on February 28, 1916 in Banker, La., but has resided in Abbeville, Louisiana since childhood.
She is the mother of four: Irene L. Hawthorne, Dallas Levine Sr., Dalton Levine Sr., and Walter Levine Sr. She has 27 grandchildren, well as 50 great- grandchildren.
She’s also mother of Mt. Triumph Baptist Church.
Mama Sang is known to many for her loving and caring personality. She is the matriarch of the family. She will celebrate the day surrounded by family and friends.
