Celebrating 50th anniversary

Major Tommy and Sybil Rigsby recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.
The couple celebrated the occasion with family and friends at A Venue by Dupuy’s in Maurice on Sunday, June 5.
Major Rigsby wed the former Sybil Hemelt on June 14, 1966, at holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Orleans.
The Rigsbys have one son, Tommy Rigsby, Jr. (Patricia) and two daughters, Lori Rigsby Mixon Macaluso and Shannon Rigsby Broussard (Travis), seven grandchildren (one deceased), two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson due in July.
