Quentin Harrington. John Toups, Backers Club President, hands him the award.
The $500 Robert J. Segura Memorial Scholarship went to
Brett Delcambre Toups hands him the award.
The $1000 Willie A Lutgring Memorial Scholarship went to
Sydney Richardelle. Handing her the award is Toups.
The $500 Willie A Lutgring Memorial Scholarship went to

Erath students receive Backers Club scholarships
The Erath Backers Club annually presents the Willie A Lutgring Memorial Scholarship and the Robert J. Segura Memorial Scholarship, which are awarded to two graduating senior girl athletes and two graduating senior boy athletes. The scholarships are awarded based on criteria utilized in the selection of each recipient. 55 percent is based on athletic achievement and 45 percent is based upon scholastic achievement. The Backers Club awarded two $1000 scholarships and two $500 scholarships for a total of $3000. (All photos were submitted to the Abbeville Meridional)
