Upcoming Library Foundation Meetings

ABBEVILLE – March 18, 2014 The Vermilion Library Foundation was established as a not-for profit charitable organization with the stated purpose of supporting and enhancing the Vermilion Parish Library System. In order to meet these stated goals, the Foundation engages in joint projects and ventures for the benefit of the Vermilion Parish Library System throughout Vermilion Parish.

The Foundation will hold its annual members' meeting in conjunction with meetings at each branch of the Vermilion Parish Library System. Members of the Foundation and the public are encouraged to attend these meetings. Attendance would be a valuable means through which the citizens of Vermilion Parish could become aware of the important role of the Vermilion Parish Library System and the role of the Foundation in assisting the library to meet the needs of the people of our parish. Our library is a means through which lifelong learning by all can be fully nourished.

Foundation members and library personnel will be available to answer questions at each of the following meetings regarding renewal of the libraries' millage on April 5, 2014.
