Lady Panthers fall to Sacred Heart

The Lady Panthers fell to Sacred Heart by the final score of 61-33, Tuesday night.

The Lady Panthers got down early to Sacred Heart.

In the first quarter Sacred Heart outscored the Lady Panthers 16-8.

The second quarter was much of the same.

The Lady Panthers only managed to score nine points, while allowing 12, giving Sacred Heart the 28-17 lead at halftime.

The second half was the same as the first.

Sacred Heart outscored the Lady Panthers 33-16 in the second half.

Leading the way for the Lady Panthers in scoring was Emily Romero and Nicole Bouillion.

Romero and Bouillion each scored eight points.

Tori Verret and Saige LeBlanc got in on the scoring action as they both scored seven.

Alana Bacas rounded out the scoring for the Lady Panthers by adding three points in the fourth quarter.

The Lady Panthers record now stands at 6-13 overall and 3-3 in district play.

Delcambre will be back in action this Friday night as they will travel to take on David Thibodeaux.

The Lady Panthers’ have already defeated David Thibodeaux once this year by the final score of 53-39.
