Letter To The Editor

Dear Editor:

In the past I’ve said some unkind things about the sheriffs department. I don’t recall when, but I did.
I just wanted to make a public apology to the sheriffs department for my behavior and I had no excuse doing what I did.
Sheriff Mike Couvillon and his family along with Mr. Randy in the main office downtown are the finest people I know thus far, and I know a lot of people.
Sheriff Couvillon is always there to help me in my times of need and I greatly appreciate it.
Sheriff Couvillon is not only a sheriff he is a friend who deserves respect. As long as he runs for sheriff at election time he will always have my vote.
For all of you with the Sheriff’s Department who face danger everyday to keep Vermilion parish residents safe please be careful your families want you home at the end of your shift.
